COURSE OVERVIEW

18-week course plan using the method introduced by Teaching the Classics to analyze four important novels.  Prerequisites: completion of American Literature B.  Completion of Essay Writing A is also strongly recommended.  
 -- Selection 1, choose one of the following: Pride & Prejudice; Jane Eyre; or Anna Karenina.
 -- Selection 2, choose one of the following: The Scarlet Letter; A Tale of Two Cities; or Heart of Darkness.
 -- Selection 3, choose one of the following: My Antonia or The Virginian.  
 -- Selection 4, choose one of the following: The Old Man and the Sea; To Kill a Mockingbird; or Animal Farm.
