COURSE OVERVIEW

Ever Ancient, Ever New, Level 1: Art History, Appreciation, Theory, & Practice with its companion worktext, ArtPad 1.  This is art history from ancient times through the 1800's; STAA studies this alongside Old World and America or Christ the King: Lord of History.  Includes an introduction to art theory and hands-on experiences with those art principles, and art appreciation through guided picture studies.  Written for the Catholic family, for students ten years old and older.
     You will need one copy of the Ever Ancient, Ever New/Level 1 softcover textbook for the family and one copy per student of its companion activity text, ART Pad/Ever Ancient, Ever New/Level 1.  Weekly course plans for 36 weeks; four day work weeks; about 30 minutes per day.
