European History I (EH1-B)

First Semester | 16-week Course Plan
 
The first of a two-semester course.  This history course uses the Christ the King, Lord of History text to explore western history and geography from the Neolithic revolution to the 14th century, and Rand McNally Historical Atlas of the World, 6th Edition for reference and resource.  
     The course features special assignments to practice taking reading notes, summarizing, outlining, identifying essential information, completing quizzes from memory, and in-class essays.  The course is written for students in Grades 7-10.  The assignments include directions for adjusting the format for students who are not yet in high school.  
       Students in Grades 7 or 8, might consider taking a full year to complete this semester course, adding in your favorite projects or readings from other classical or world history programs as supplements (as time and interest allows).

European History II (EH2-B)

Second Semester | 16-week Course Plan
 
The second of a two-semester course. Uses Christ the King and Rand McNally Historical Atlas of the World, 6th Edition to continue the study of Western civilization from the fourteenth century to the 1980s.
