Live Class Schedule

Small Group Live Classes

St. Thomas Aquinas Academy offers 1) two full enrollment options (one with transcripts and one without), 2) live online classes, and 3) a self-paced independent study option to help you homeschool with as much or as little support as your family needs.  Listed here are the registration fees and schedule for the live classes.  Links to the class registration are included below or you can skip right to the open registration page by clicking here.

Register for Live Classes

Whether or not your student is formally enrolled in the full St. Thomas Aquinas Academy homeschool program, he or she is welcome to join our live classes in writing, reasoning, religion, literature, history, economics, government, fine arts, and the natural sciences.  We offer a variety of options for high school students looking for live, online classes:
  1. Live Classes with Graded Discussions: Small group, seminar-style teleconference discussions directed by the advisor every other school week.  Classes are limited to eight students per class to encourage discussion and participation; the live meetings are guided by the advisor but are not lecture driven.
    Registration Fees$209 per semester, per student, per course; reduced to $159 for STAA students.

  2. Live Classes with Graded Discussions and Graded Assignments: With this option, in addition to the advisor-led class meetings mentioned above, students may submit their papers and other assignments to their advisor for review and grading.
    Registration Fees$325 per semester, per student, per course; reduced to $275 for STAA students.

  3. Writing and Reasoning Live Classes with Graded Discussions and Graded Assignments: These live classes we call the ✪Essential Schedule courses.  The ✪Essential Schedule courses meet every school week of the semester.  The courses in this category are Composition I, Composition II, Essay Writing B, Logic, Essay Writing A, Critical Reading, and Research Papers.
    Registration Fees: $475 per semester, per student, per course; reduced to $395 for STAA students.

 

FALL 2024 CLASS SCHEDULE

Registration for the Fall 2024 semester is open from 3/15/2024 through 8/1/2024.  The semester begins 8/12/2024 and ends 12/20/2024.

Live Classes meet every other week according to whether they are on the ♞Black Schedule track or the ♘White Schedule track.  ✪ Essential Schedule courses in writing and reasoning meet every Tuesday.

    SPRING 2025 CLASS SCHEDULE

    Registration for the Spring 2025 semester is open from 10/15/2024 through 12/20/2024.  The semester begins 1/6/2025 and ends 5/23/2025.

    Live Classes meet every other week according to whether they are on the ♞Black Schedule track or the ♘White Schedule track.  ✪ Essential Schedule courses in writing and reasoning meet every Tuesday.
